Michelle Yeoh met her longtime love, Jean Todt, in Shanghai on June 4, 2004, at a Ferrari event. She was a spokesman for the luxury car brand, and he was the company's CEO. After meeting, Todt popped the question a month later on July 26, 2004.

The power couple were engaged for 19 years, waiting until the time was right. Then, on July 27, 2023, the moment arrived. The Everything Everywhere All At Once actress and the former Ferrari exec crossed the finish line, tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Geneva.

Racecar driver and wedding guest Felipe Massa shared an image of the ceremony program on Instagram.

The post read: "Today after 9662 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!"

Sometimes, love sparked on reality TV doesn't always last beyond the cameras; however, some couples have defied the odds. Such is the case for stars Fletcher and Rodgers, arguably one of the show's greatest success stories.

Audiences were first introduced to Fletcher on season 20 of The Bachelor when Ben Higgins confessed his love for her but ultimately chose Lauren Bushnell over Fletcher. Fletcher got another chance at on-air love when she became the focus of season 12 of The Bachelorette. During the season finale, athlete-turned-sports commentator Rodgers dropped to one knee and proposed with a 3-carat ring in 2016.

In her 2016 blog for PEOPLE, Fletcher wrote, "Hearing Jordan's beautiful proposal was the best feeling I've ever had. Those words were everything I ever wanted on the day that I would be accepting a proposal. I also couldn't wait to tell Jordan that I finally loved him! It was an unbelievable feeling to finally let the man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with know how I felt."

Three years later, Rodgers re-proposed with a new engagement ring in a "perfectly imperfect" setting outside of a studio. In 2019, Rodgers shared a video on Instagram of the intimate moment with the caption: "I made the best decision of my life … again!" before adding, "Funny how much harder this proposal thing is without 20 producers planning the whole thing!!"

After a four-year engagement, the couple planned to wed in 2020, but COVID-19 derailed their plans. Though they had to postpone their wedding several times, Fletcher and Rodgers ended up at the altar on May 14, 2022.

"It sounds cliché, but I really am marrying my best friend," Fletcher told PEOPLE at the time. "Everything that's happened in our relationship has only made us stronger. And we just feel so lucky."

She added, "I'm just so ready for this next chapter of our lives to start!"

In 2023, The Big D former co-hosts opened up to PEOPLE about the success of their marriage a year after walking down the aisle.

"I think one thing that we've always recognized and don't shy away from is you're always going to have to put in the work. You're always going to have to compromise. It's always going to be discovering and learning and compromising with your partner," Fletcher said, adding, "We obviously took a long time before we got married."

Actors Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are one of Hollywood's most endearing and enduring couples. Although they have been together for over 20 years, they have only been married since 2010.

The Star Wars legend met the former Ally McBeal star in 2002 at the Golden Globes when Ford was 60 and Flockhart was 38.

A year after meeting, Ford revealed to Hello! magazine that he was in love with Flockhart.

"Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love, and I think there is a potential for it at any stage of your life," he told the publication in 2003. "I was not surprised that I was able to fall in love, and I wasn't surprised that I did."

Their first date was a little unconventional: dinner and drinks at the home of the Indiana Jones star and an appearance by Flockhart's former Ally McBeal costar James Marsden, who served as her "wingman" during their dates.

"She asked me after we wrapped if I would come along with her to this date because it was a new guy," Marsden said in 2019 during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. "I'm a harbinger of a wonderful, long relationship."

Marsden seemingly was a good luck charm because after the couple got engaged over Valentine's Day weekend in 2009, they wed in Santa Fe, N.M., in a private ceremony at the Governor's Mansion on June 15, 2010.

Ford has four kids from his first two marriages and formally adopted Flockhart's son, Liam, after the two tied the knot.

"My life has been enabled by my lovely wife, who has supported my passions and my dreams, and I'm grateful," Ford said during a speech at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. "And you know, I love you too. You've given my life purpose and meaning, and I'm grateful for that, so grateful."

"Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" Tina Turner found her happily ever after with her second husband, Erwin Bach, at an airport.

"We met at Cologne [Bonn] Airport — actually, it was Düsseldorf Airport [in Germany], and her manager Roger [Davies] asked me to pick up Tina," recalled Bach in the 2021 HBO documentary Tina. "We enjoyed the ride. I enjoyed driving the artist, actually a superstar. You're normally a little nervous, but I wasn't nervous either. I was just doing the job."

In her 2020 book, Happiness Becomes You: A Guide to Changing Your Life for Good, Turner detailed their love story.

"Falling in love with my husband, Erwin, was another exercise in leaving my comfort zone, of being open to the unexpected gifts that life has to offer," she wrote. "The day I first met Erwin at an airport in Germany, I should have been too tired from my flight, too preoccupied with thoughts of my concert tour, and in too much of a hurry to get to my hotel to pay much attention to the young music executive who came from my record company to welcome me."

She continued, "But I did notice him, and I instantly felt an emotional connection."

After Bach gave Turner a lift, the couple began what would become a long and beautiful courtship, lasting 27 years before they tied the knot in 2013.

In 2017, Bach saved his wife's life by donating a kidney to the "Proud Mary" singer. The songstress recounted the experience in her 2018 memoir, My Love Story, writing that her husband was by her side and was "loyal, kind and understanding — and determined to help me get through all this alive."

"I lived through a hellish marriage that almost destroyed me, but I went on. I know that my medical adventure is far from over. But I'm still here — we're still here, closer than we ever imagined," wrote Turner.

Turner died at age 83 in 2023 at her home in Switzerland, following a long period of illness, including a stroke in 2013, an intestinal cancer diagnosis in 2016 and kidney failure.

In 2021, Trap star Josh Hartnett and his longtime partner Tamsin Egerton quietly married in a private ceremony in London. Before making it official, the newlyweds had been together for over a decade; they first met on the set of The Lovers in 2011.

Egerton posted a thank-you message and photo on Instagram showing what appeared to be an engagement ring and wedding band on her ring finger.

"It's been one incredible week, and I can safely say we're all happily exhausted," the actress wrote.

Hartnett shared the secret to their solid relationship in 2024.

"I think you have to give more than you feel, you receive," the Oppenheimer actor told PEOPLE. "That's the biggest thing."

The pair shares four kids: a daughter they welcomed in late 2015, another child in 2017, a third in late 2019, and a fourth child in 2024.

Comedian Joy Behar met school teacher Steve Janowitz in an unconventional way. He was all dressed up ... in his birthday suit.

"I don't know if you know this about me, but I met my husband at a semi-nudist colony. It's true," The View co-host said during an episode in 2024. "He was naked; I was not. Because for a man to see me naked, I have to be in his will."

Behar clarified, "I don't wear bathing suits in public. Neither does Steve!"

Following their memorable first meeting, Behar and Janowitz dated for nearly 30 years before marrying in a private ceremony in N.Y.C. on Aug. 11, 2011. On The View, she said that the passage of gay marriage legislation in New York at the time aided her decision.

"It did have an influence on me — it brought to my consciousness why gays needed to get married," she said on the daytime talk show. "And I thought it was a good reason for me to get married. And so did Steve, so we did it."

Behar added, "If he was going to get down on one knee, I wanted it to be during the time when he could still get up from one knee."

When Peter Sarsgaard first met Maggie Gyllenhaal in 2001, he had no idea what she did for a living, but he knew he liked her.

"I met Maggie at a dinner, and I didn't even know she was an actress," Sarsgaard told PEOPLE in 2023 of his attraction to his future wife. "I knew nothing about her, but it was instant," he said of his attraction to his future wife.

The Presumed Innocent actor continued, "Then, Secretary came out, maybe six months later, and I was like, 'Oh whoa. Okay. She's not like any other actress in the world.' "

After being together for over four years, the couple confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively in 2006 that they were engaged and expecting their first child. Sarsgaard and Gyllenhaal welcomed daughter Ramona in 2006 before tying the knot in Italy in 2009. They then had their second child, daughter Gloria Ray, in 2012.

In 2024, Sarsgaard revealed the secret to their marriage was staggering projects and sharing the spotlight.

"We take turns in terms of our work," he told PEOPLE. "I think that's one of the things that you just sort of have to do is let someone have their dance, and then you take your dance. There is great value in that."

"Wait 28 years before you get married. Do not rush into things. Be very careful!" Don Cheadle told Entertainment Tonight in 2021 about tying the knot with his partner of nearly 30 years, Bridgid Coulter, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coulter added, "You've got to make sure. I wasn't sure. Now, I think I'm almost sure."

"Our accountant proposed to both of us, and he showed us the numbers, and we said, yeah, we should probably do it," the Fight Night star joked about what influenced their decision.

Cheadle continued, "It came up a lot of time. But every time, we were like, 'But we're already together?' [The accountant said], 'Yeah, but this is a better reason to be together.' Really, it's because our accountant proposed to us; I wish there were some big, sweet romantic story, but the romance happened, you know, the first year."

The pair's two daughters — Ayana and Imani — joined the couple for an intimate ceremony.

"It was just beautiful," said Coulter. "It was just for us in our backyard, our two kids. It was for us. It was special."

Adams met Le Gallo in an acting class in 2001, telling Vanity Fair that "he was a little scared" of her at first.

"I got to know him outside of class," Adams told the publication in 2008. "I just found him to be such a genuine, caring person. … He demanded that we go out on a date. He said, 'I know you're getting over this [other] guy, but I'm taking you out on Wednesday,' and I was like, 'And so you are!' "

After 42 years together, Lily Tomlin married her partner and longtime collaborator Jane Wagner in a private ceremony at a friend's house in L.A. on New Year's Eve in 2013.

"It was sweet," the Grace and Frankie star told PEOPLE of the ceremony. "We didn't have any rings, so I went into our jewelry and was digging out rings. I said, 'We have to have some kind of rings!' "

It was love at first sight for the couple, even before their initial collaboration on the 1972 comedy album And That's the Truth, with Tomlin telling Variety in 2020, "A friend brought her to my hotel room, and I tell you, in two minutes, I fell in love with her."

Tomlin continued, "She had on hot pants, stretchy boots that went up to her knee, and a little backpack. I don't know what it was, but I was in love."

"It was an ecstatic time when we found each other," Wagner said before adding, "aesthetically — and in every other way."

The Sex and the City alumnus John Corbett and 10 star Bo Derek were hitched in 2020 during the pandemic to give the salty year a sweet ending. "After 20 years, we decided to get married; we didn't want 2020 to be that thing that everybody looks back at and hates. We thought, 'Well, let's get one nice thing out of it,' " Corbett revealed on The Talk a few months later.

The two met in 2002 when Corbett’s agent set him up with Derek as his date to the Oscars.

Derek had previously told Fox News why the pair took a while to wed.

"I think when you're beginning a young family and you're going to have children and set up this new family tree branch, it's obviously a wonderful commitment and it's meaningful," she said. "But for us in our lives, it hasn't been yet."

King Charles III's goddaughter and designer India Hicks — who was a young bridesmaid at his 1981 wedding to Princess Diana — married her longtime love David Flint Wood, a former advertising executive, in 2021 after 26 years together. The pair share five children.

"It was a magical day full of joy and happiness," a source close to Hicks told PEOPLE at the time. "Everyone was thrilled to see India and David walk down the aisle together after so many years together, not least their five children and India's mother, Lady Pamela Hicks."

The entrepreneur, writer and model revealed on Instagram that they were set to wed in 2020, noting that they had to postpone their plans twice due to the ongoing pandemic.
