Wolves' Anthony Edwards Sends Chet Holmgren 3-Word Message After Viral Dunk
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards made Oklahoma City Thunder big Chet Holmgren's homecoming far from cozy.
Just over halfway through the first quarter, Edwards drove the ball into the paint and exploded to the rim over the Minnesota-made 7-footer.

Coming off a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, Edwards provided the spark the Timberwolves needed to upset the NBA's top team, rolling to a 116-101 victory on Feb. 13. Edwards finished the game with 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, helping the Timberwolves pick up their 31st win of the season.
After the game, Edwards was shown another angle of the dunk that went viral on social media and offered his breakdown of the play, followed by a message for Holmgren.
"Shoutout to Chet," Edwards said. "Welcome home, baby."

A Minneapolis, Minn., native, Holmgren played basketball at Minnehaha Academy with Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs. Holmgren won four state titles with the Redhawks on the Target Center floor where Edwards ignited for one of his most dazzling dunks of the season.
While Holmgren has had better days in that building, his Thunder (44-10) currently pace the Western Conference and are 8.5 games ahead of the second-place Memphis Grizzlies.
Minnesota (31-25) is currently 7th in the conference entering the All-Star break and is flirting with a top-six seed that would help the Wolves avoid the play-in tournament.
