Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has stated that we will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the protection of the motherland.

While congratulating the participants of the Pakistan Day ceremony, President Zardari said that today revives the memory of the sacrifices made by millions of Muslims, which turned the dream of Pakistan into reality.

He paid tribute to the martyrs and emphasized that Pakistan was achieved through great sacrifices. He added that India has always viewed Pakistan with hostility.

The President further stated that Pakistan’s foreign policy is based on peace and stability, and the country will continue to raise its voice for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination on every global platform. Despite challenges and conspiracies, Pakistan has been built and will continue to progress.

He reiterated that no sacrifice will be spared for the protection of the homeland. Pakistan has effectively countered both external and internal terrorism. He stressed the need to build a strong and prosperous Pakistan, urging the youth to resist elements spreading hatred and despair.

Asif Zardari paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the nation, stating that Pakistan’s goal is to become a modern Islamic welfare state. He affirmed that the nefarious ambitions of extremist and terrorist organizations will be thwarted and that the nation stands firmly alongside the armed forces in eradicating the menace of terrorism.

He further emphasized that fifth-generation warfare is a significant challenge, but Pakistan is a resilient nation capable of overcoming any obstacles.
