Which Is The Best KitchenAid Color Of The Year?
The KitchenAid stand mixer is a key appliance for many home cooks. It's known for its durability and also its versatility: kneading dough, mixing batter, whipping cream. The iconic appliance is the highlight of any kitchen. So, of course, the color matters. Each year KitchenAid launches a new color of the year for its products and we decided to take a look back at the last six to see which is the most-loved.
We took to Instagram to ask our fans which color from 2020 to 2025 is the best and people had thoughts.
While we didn't tally all votes from the comments there are some clear winners...and losers.
Hibiscus and Beetroot seem to take the lead–two of the most vibrant and bright colors over the last six years.
"🍠 Beetroot and 🌺 Hibiscus are tied," one user commented.
The pastel Blue Salt and Butter would have to be runners up. Butter is the 2025 color of the year which Kitchen Aid said is "inspired by the most lovable ingredient of all."
"This year, butter! Yellow is my favorite color and I love to work with butter!," another user commented.
"Butter feels so retro and cozy," said another.
While there were quite a few votes for Honey, sadly, I had to search the comments to find fans of 2020's Kyoto Glow and I only found a few.
With 2022 and 2023 bringing the bright Hibiscus and Beetroot and 2024 and 2025 bringing the more subdued pastel Blue Salt and Butter, what are your predictions for next year's KitchenAid color of the year?
