Fans React To Starbucks' New Cherry Blossom Cup Collection

Published 1 month ago3 minute read

Nothing says spring more than cherry blossom trees. And as part of Starbucks' spring merchandise, the coffee chain launched a cherry blossom collection to welcome the season. The limited-edition merch includes both hot and cold drinkware and "features delicate designs and soft shades of pastel pink," according to the brand. It's available at participating U.S. stores while supplies last.

From left to right, the floral collection includes: Reflective Cherry Blossom Tumbler, Pink Cherry Blossom Tumbler with Butterfly Charm, Pink Floral Cold Cup, and Pink Soft Touch Cold Cup. Any one of these would be ideal for holding the new Iced Cherry Chai.

Of course, we wanted to get fans' opinions on the springtime merch so we took to TikTok.

While the TikTok didn't receive all positive comments, many had good things to say about the cherry blossom collection:

"I’ve never cared for the Starbucks cup hype but I want every single one of these," wrote one user.

Another said, "Not me running to the closest Starbucks!"

"I haven't bought a Starbucks tumbler in years. Had to get this one. It's very pretty."

Starbucks even chimed in commenting "spring just made its grand entrance."

A few people mentioned Starbucks Japan's cherry blossom merch, which includes a large assortment of products ranging from tumblers and mugs to a cherry blossom-printed notebook and tote bag. Japan is known for its cherry blossoms or "sakura" in Japanese, where they hold cultural significance.

"Japan Starbucks cherry blossom drops are much better lol," wrote one user.
