Tabu has strongly denied claims in a recent piece that claimed she made some controversial statements. The article reportedly claimed that the actor had stated, "I just want a man in bed, no marriage." Her team has now released a statement criticising those who have "falsely attributed undignified statements" to her. They also called it a grave ethical violation and demanded an apology.

After her above-mentioned statement went viral, Tabu's team wrote in a statement that a number of websites and social media accounts have incorrectly linked Tabu to certain derogatory remarks.

Her statement further read, “We would like to clarify that she never made these quotes, and it is a serious breach of ethics to mislead the audience. We demand that these websites remove the fabricated quotes immediately and issue a formal apology for their actions – Issued by Tabu’s Management Team."

Regarding her upcoming projects, she will next be seen with Akshay Kumar in an important part in Bhooth Bangla. Under the auspices of Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films production company, the film is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor. Vedant Baali and Faara Sheikh are co-producers of the movie.

Additionally, the film will bring together the legendary trio of Tabu, Akshay Kumar, and director Priyadarshan, who last collaborated on Hera Pheri.

Last seen in the web series Dune: Prophecy, Tabu made her Hollywood debut. The character she portrayed was Sister Francesca.
