- Isolated rain is likely in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
5-day nationwide outlook
A western disturbance is set to impact the Western Himalayas, peaking on Thursday with an induced Cyclonic Circulation before easing by Friday.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Himalayas are expected to witness persistent snowfall over the next five days due to another cyclonic circulation.
Maximum temperatures are expected to remain around normal across the country for the next five days, except in the Punjab Plains, where cooler temperatures are likely on Thursday and Friday.
In northern Karnataka and western Andhra Pradesh, maximum temperatures may reach 35°C or higher in the coming days.
Overnight minimum temperatures will remain above normal across much of the country for the next five days.
