CAPE TOWN - The National Prosecuting Authority has welcomed the life sentences imposed on the three kidnappers and traffickers of Joshlin Smith.

The court has also ordered that their names be put on the national child protection register.

This is a ground-breaking case in South Africa. Although unfortunately the girl has still not been found.

She went missing from her home in Middelpos in Saldanha Bay in February last year.
