Wake Forest vs Duke men's basketball how to watch, odds, injuries, series history, and prediction

Published 2 weeks ago2 minute read

The No. 2 Duke Blue Devils host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons for the final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham in the regular season finale on Monday evening (March 3).

If Duke takes care of business as a double-digit home favorite against Wake Forest tonight, it moves head coach Jon Scheyer and the Blue Devils one step closer to securing the outright ACC regular season title and locking down a one-seed for the NCAA Tournament this postseason.

According to the latest CBS Sports Bracketology from Jerry Palm, Wake Forest is one of the "last four out" on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament. Wake Forest is still searching for its first ranked win of the season and in ACC play.

    Wake Forest vs Duke prediction

Duke's third-leading scorer, junior guard Tyrese Proctor, is listed as "questionable" heading into Wake Forest tonight. Proctor missed Duke's blowout win vs. Florida State over the weekend after being dealt an unfortunate knee injury vs. Miami in late February.

The Blue Devils' offense has exploded in recent weeks, scoring at least 100 points in three of its last five contests. Duke has also held its opponents to 70 or fewer points in six straight games.

A win tonight has the potential to secure Duke's first ACC regular season title for Scheyer as the Blue Devils' head coach.

The projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft this summer, Duke freshman forward Cooper Flagg, led the Blue Devils to a hard-fought 63-56 road win over Wake Forest in late January in Winston-Salem. Flagg scored a game-high 15 second-half points to give Duke one of their biggest second-half comeback wins of ACC conference play over the past couple of months.
