Voice acting can add a layer of realness to a video game; hearing your favorite character fully express their emotions can draw you in even more. Voice actors typically do other roles, so you may even hear a familiar voice in a television show or movie.

How many of their roles do you recognize?

Which voice actor has the most amount of acting credits though? Here, we are going to take a look at just that! This will cover voice actors who have the most credits, ranging from memorable video games to charming anime characters. For each actor, we will highlight a few of their most iconic roles.

This list consists of English-speaking voice actors, but don't worry; we didn't forget about the rest of the world! This is just the Western voice actors with the most acting credits.

Of course, we had to start our list with Steve Blum. To really solidify his place here, he even received a Guinness World Record for voicing the most amount of video game characters in 2012. This involves iconic characters like Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat and Ares from God of War. For any Guild Wars 2 fans, he is also the voice of Rytlock Brimstone!

His voice extends far past video games. Steve Blum voices some favorites (in English) such as Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop and Orochimaru from Naruto. The list goes on, so you'll definitely recognize some of his roles when checking out his filmography.

Dee Bradley Baker is another voice actor who could populate an army with his roles. Perhaps the most interesting include Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb and the Clone Troopers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

In terms of video games, Dee Bradley Baker has made his mark. Once again, he voices many iterations of Clone Troopers. He is also the voice of Hammond from Overwatch, as well as Atlas and P-Body from Portal 2. We personally love his Diablo 3 credit as 'monster voice effects'.

If you are a fan of looking up voice actors, then you probably know who Tara Strong is. She has some truly iconic characters under her belt, including Timmy Turner from The Fairly OddParents and Raven from Teen Titans Go!.

Her video game repertoire is quite expressive as well; Tara Strong is the voice of Rikku from Final Fantasy 10, as well as Harley Quinn in Batman/Justice League games. Interestingly, she is also the voice of Miss Minutes from the Loki television show.

Tom Kenny is extremely prolific in the voice-acting world. Chances are, you've heard his voice recently; he has voiced characters in tons of classic cartoons, such as The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, and Rocko's Modern Life. Of course, the most iconic of all is his role as SpongeBob SquarePants.

That's right; Tom Kenny is SpongeBob. He also portrays Patchy the Pirate who appears periodically in the show's live-action portions. You can also find him voicing video game versions of SpongeBob, Spyro, and the Ice King in both the Adventure Time show and 2018 game.

Fans of South Park will recognize Trey Parker, as he is the co-creator of the show (along with Matt Stone). In addition to writing the show, he also voiced Stan and Randy Marsh, Eric Cartman, and tons of other voices.

As such, you can see him in every South Park video game as these characters. What really propels him to earn a spot on this list is the sheer amount of South Park characters he voices. Oh yeah, he also voices Jesus Christ in The Book of Mormon play.

Grey DeLisle has voiced some of our favorite characters, including Jeanne from the Bayonetta franchise and Vicky from The Fairly OddParents. That's right, both Grey DeLisle and Tara Strong are in this show! Grey DeLisle also happens to voice dozens of other characters in the show, including the Tooth Fairy.

You can also hear Grey DeLisle as Captain Marvel in Marvel vs. Capcom, the female wizard in Diablo 3, and Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Similar to The Fairly OddParents, she also voices an overwhelming amount of characters from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (including Frankie Foster).

Jeff Bennett voices a lot characters from a lot of late-90s to early-2000s media. If you grew up watching Johnny Bravo, then you are familiar with Jeff, as he is the memorable voice of Johnny! In terms of animation, he is also Petrie from The Land Before Time and Dexter's dad in Dexter's Laboratory.

You can hear him in dozens of video games, including several Kingdom Hearts games. His role in this franchise encompasses several characters, including Merlin, Mr. Smee, and the Mayor of Halloween Town. He is also the voice of Merlin in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

We all know Troy Baker at this point. His voice is in pretty much every video game you can think of. Most notably, he is Joel in The Last Of Us, Vincent in Catherine (and Catherine: Full Body), and Booker DeWitt from BioShock.

Last but not least, we have Fred Tatasciore. This voice actor is so prolific that his voice has a place in several theme park rides. When you get on Space Mountain and hear the safety instructions? That's Fred Tatasciore. He also voices Hulk in tons of Marvel games, with Marvel Rivals being the most current.

Fred Tatasciore voiced the Tasmanian Devil (Taz) in several pieces of media. Interestingly, Taz has also been voiced by Dee Bradley Baker and Steve Blum at one point, who both make an appearance on our list.

We can't forget his role as Soldier: 76 from Overwatch, Darth Vader from Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and Rhino in the Insomniac Spider-Man games. Fred Tatasciore also does additional voices for tons of animation, such as Hotel Transylvania, Frozen, and Wreck-It Ralph.
