Vijay Deverakond's upcoming tentatively titled film '

' is directed by 'Jersey' fame

and is currently in the making. Recently the makers shared the title and teaser release date of the film.
The production took to social media, where they shared a new poster of the film, which consisted of a jewel in the centerpiece and had a gloomy theme as it is kept around a fire.

The poster also has a tagline that says, "The silent CROWN Awaits the KING.". Along with the poster, the makers shared the teaser, and the title will be revealed on 12th February 2025.

'VD12' is expected to be a big film for Vijay Deverakonda, especially after his recent releases, such as '

Family Star

' and 'Khushi,' received mixed responses. In this movie, Vijay will be playing the role of a cop for the first time. Vijay has undergone rigorous training to prepare for the role, including ice baths to recover from intense workouts.

The film is being produced on a large scale, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music. The makers shot some key scenes in Sri Lanka. Some leaks from the set went viral, showing Deverakonda with a beard, riding a motorcycle.
While the film was initially scheduled for release on March 28, 2025, it may be delayed due to other major releases. Some reports suggest that the film may be released on May 30 this year.
