Vihiga: Teacher and former Gisambai Ward MCA aspirant Beverlyne Undisa has passed away.

She unsuccessfully vied for the seat in the 2022 General Elections. Friends of Undisa shared the sad news on social media, revealing she died at a Vihiga hospital after a short illness.

Undisa has left behind two children.

A video of the politician's heartbroken mother, wailing as she mourned her daughter, touched many.

The grief-stricken mother painfully mourned her daughter, insinuating that someone had a hand in her daughter's death.

"Nimeuza mboga kwa mvua, na kwa jua, nimezunguka maboma Chavakali nikitafuta mboga , niuze ndio mukue (I have hustled selling vegetables in rainy and dry seasons to educate you (my children). People voted for you, and it's like someone bewitched you," she mourned.

Undisa's death comes barely two months after politicians Malulu Injendi and Kirimi Muturi's deaths.

Injendi, the Malava MP, died on February 17, hours after his elder brother, Samuel, passed away.

Injendi was buried after Samuel as per Luhya customs.

Muturi, a famous politician in Tharaka Nithi county, died on March 4 in a grisly road accident just five days after burying his father.

Muturi was travelling to Nairobi when he was involved in an accident near Zero Plus Restaurant in Chuka along the busy Meru-Nairobi Highway.

In another story, reported that netizens were heartbroken by the death of Mukami.

The bubbly TikToker is reported to have complained of a headache and was hospitalised for one and a half months before she died.

Many described the mother of two as a jovial, kind and entertaining TikToker. Mukami's body is expected to be repatriated to Kenya for burial.
