Uzodimma sacks Imo Attorney General

The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has removed Cyprian O. C. Akaolisa, the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, from office.
His sack was disclosed yesterday in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.

  The statement directed Akaolisa to hand over all government property in his care to the state Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice.

  The statement reads: “The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has approved the immediate removal of the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, C.O.C Akaolisa, from office. 

  “The erstwhile commissioner has been directed to hand over all government property under his care to the State Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, immediately.”
