UTME/DE: CAN partners JAMB on sensitisation
In a related development, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Imo State Chapter, is set to partner JAMB on the 2025 UTME/DE registration exercise sensitization campaigns.
This was made known when the Director, Owerri Zonal Office/Headquarters Annex, Mrs. Gloria Anyeagbu, paid a courtesy visit to the Imo State CAN Chairman, Rev. Dr. Eches D. Eches, in his office on January 22.
Anyeagbu stated that she paid the visit to seek collaboration with the Association in its bid to sensitize the public on the upcoming registration exercise so as to guide prospective candidates against avoidable mistakes ahead of the exercise.
“The significant impact of the church, especially in this part of the country, cannot be overemphasized in terms of reaching the right audience as well as safeguarding the citizens from the ploys of unscrupulous elements, who go about extorting innocent citizens,” she said
Responding, the CAN Chairman expressed appreciation to the Board’s delegation for the visit and pledged to reach out to various Heads of churches in the State on the need to use their platforms to sensitise candidates and other stakeholders on the impending exercise
