USA Basketball Announces Rosters for FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2025

USA Basketball has officially unveiled the rosters for the 2025 USA Men’s and Women’s 3x3 National Teams, which are poised to compete at the prestigious FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2025. The global tournament is scheduled to take place from June 23-29 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, bringing together top talent from around the world in the rapidly growing sport of 3x3 basketball.
The 2025 USA 3x3 Men’s National Team comprises a formidable quartet of veteran players: Henry Caruso, Mitch Hahn, James Parrott, and Dylan Travis. This experienced group demonstrated their prowess by winning the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup 2024 last December. They also competed in the inaugural FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup in March and are currently featured on the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Men’s World Tour. The selection of this team was overseen by Jimmer Fredette, the managing director for the USA Basketball 3x3 Men’s National Team.
Individual achievements underscore the strength of the men's squad. Dylan Travis, a key player, was part of the 2024 USA 3x3 Men’s National Team that notably made its Olympic debut in Paris. He is a two-time FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup champion, having secured titles in 2022 and 2024, and also earned a silver medal at the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup. Mitch Hahn and James Parrott will each be making their fourth national team appearances, with Hahn's recent participations including the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup and the 2024 and 2023 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup. Parrott's extensive experience includes the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup, the 2024 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup, and the 2022 FIBA 3x3 World Cup. Henry Caruso rounds out the group, making his third national team appearance after competing in the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup and the 2024 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup.
On the women’s side, the 2025 USA 3x3 Women’s National Team boasts significant USA Basketball experience and was selected by the USA Basketball 3x3 Women’s Junior National Team Committee. The team features Morgan Maly, Sarah Strong, Mikaylah Williams, and Sahara Williams.
Morgan Maly brings a wealth of collegiate experience from her five-year career at Creighton University (2020-25), where she was recognized as a three-time All-Big East First Team member. Her recent professional exposure includes spending the WNBA preseason with the Connecticut Sun. Maly's 3x3 journey commenced at the 3x3 USA Basketball 3X Nationals, where she and her Blue Jays team clinched the title. She has also represented the U.S. in the FIBA 3x3 Nations League and the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series over the past two summers. Sarah Strong, an incoming sophomore at the University of Connecticut, is a remarkable three-time champion of the FIBA 3x3 U18 Women’s World Cup, securing titles consecutively in 2022, 2023, and 2024. LSU standout Mikaylah Williams mirrors this success with a trio of 3x3 U18 gold medals from 2021 through 2023. Lastly, Sahara Williams, currently attending the University of Oklahoma, contributed to winning the 3x3 U18 World Cup title in both 2022 and 2023.
