In a trendless day of trade, the Nifty headed nowhere as it navigated the weekly options expiry and ended Thursday with a negligible loss. The Nifty opened on a flat note and, in a downward spike, formed its low point for the day. After that, it soon recovered towards its previous close and then spent the entire session trading in a capped range with limited losses. The headline index finally ended with a negligible loss of 18.80 points
