Palanpur: Two siblings died when a mud wall collapsed in courtyard of their home due to heavy moisture in Ratanpur village of Sabarkantha's Khedbrahma taluka on Sunday.The children, Ravindra Makwana (9), Dilip (4) and Asha (7), were playing ner the wall when it suddenly gave in.

Upon hearing the commotion, nearby residents rushed to the scene and rescued them from the debris.

Ravindra was taken to a hospital in Khedbrahma, while Dilip and Asha were being transported towards Vadali for advanced treatment. However, both died on the way.A case has been registered at Kheroj police station in connection with the incident.
