Ahmedabad: Two persons sustained minor injuries after a fire broke out in an industrial building in Saijpur-Bogha early on Saturday morning. One person was shifted to a nearby hospital due to head injuries, said Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) officials."The incident took place around 6am on Saturday when some of the tricycles operated by battery used by ice cream vendors caught fire after a malfunction in the battery that was kept for charging overnight. The smoke emanated from the fire on the ground floor and soon reached the first floor as five persons were present," said an AFES official.Three of them were rescued by a team, whereas two tried to save their lives by jumping from a height. One of these persons sustained a head injury, said officials. Three of the tricycles were gutted in the incident, they added.
