US President Donald Trump issued a forceful warning to Iran on Sunday, stating that any attack on the United States would be met with “the full strength” of the US military.
He reiterated that Washington was not involved in Israel’s recent strikes on Iranian nuclear and intelligence facilities.
Trump’s warning comes as Israel’s operation, which began early Friday, has targeted key Iranian nuclear and military sites, reportedly killing dozens, including top army commanders and atomic scientists.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to strike “every target of the ayatollah regime,” leading to a retaliatory barrage of missiles from Iran.

Despite being aware of the Israeli operation before its commencement, Trump emphasised on his Truth Social platform that the United States “had nothing to do with the attack on Iran tonight.”
He declared, “If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.”
Trump also suggested a diplomatic resolution, adding, “We can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel and end this bloody conflict!!!”
This latest statement follows Trump’s earlier plea on Friday for Tehran to make a deal or face “even more brutal” attacks from Israel.
During his first presidential term, Trump unilaterally withdrew the United States from the landmark 2015 nuclear accord with Iran, which had been negotiated under former president Barack Obama, and subsequently reimposed sanctions.
