As we look to venture to new and exciting destinations in 2025, we're also going to need new and exciting places to stay.
Aussies are keen to travel more than ever this year and there are plenty of new properties both here at home in Australia and around the world opening their doors to guests this year.
Here are some of the most exciting hotel openings to come in 2025...

Wilderluxe Lake Keepit is a new luxury glamping retreat, opening in NSW's 'Big Sky Country' over the Easter long weekend.
This exclusive retreat is nestled above Lake Keepit, surrounded by the Great Dividing Range and rolling countryside to offer a quintessentially Australian escape.
Situated between Tamworth and Gunnedah, the property is a five-hour drive from Sydney, with direct flights to Tamworth from Sydney and Brisbane.

There are only eight luxuriously-appointed Star Tents and a shared Gilay Lounge for guest social and dining experiences, each perched high above the lake providing a spectacular panoramic view.
Designed for year-round comfort, each is fully insulated and features a skylight above the bed, perfect for cosy evening stargazing.

Wilderluxe is a new initiative from Reflections Holidays, with further destinations planned over the next two years in Lennox Head, Eden, Brunswick Heads, and Lake Glenbawn.

Nestled along the shores of Tangalle, Sri Lanka, coastal retreat Uga Prāva is set to open in May.
The resort, which is located on 2.5 acres of lush gardens about 215km from Bandaranaike International Airport, offers only seven ocean-facing suites, an infinity pool and access to a private beach.

The suites also offer ocean views, minimalist design and private balconies with Jacuzzis.
Guests can partake in activities such as private yoga, guided pottery-making, surfing, kayaking and cycling through local fishing villages.
The dining experience at Prāva offers a menu that emphasises fresh, local ingredients and dishes that take inspiration from the vibrant ecosystem of coral reefs while highlighting traditional Sri Lankan flavours.

One&Only has announced it is set to open its first resort in the United States on November 18, 2025 - One&Only Moonlight Basin
Set in Montana's most desirable destination, Big Sky, the 190-acre year-round resort is located in a vast and treasured mountain range landscape, with access to pristine ski slopes and adjacent to the greater Yellowstone National Park and ecosystem.
