President Bola Tinubu on Saturday received several prominent guests at his Lagos residence in celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

Among those who visited the president were former Delta State governor James Ibori and minister of budget and economic planning, Abubakar Bagudu.

Also present were billionaire industrialist Razak Okoya, his wife Shade Okoya and their son.

Shade Okoya shared photos from the visit on her page on Sunday.

“Celebrating Salah with His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. The President Federal Republic Of Nigeria,” she captioned the post.

The visit was part of a series of engagements by the president, who has been in Lagos since May 27.

During his stay, he attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and inaugurated several development projects across the state.

Tinubu is expected to return to the Federal Capital Territory after the Sallah holidays.

In his Eid message to Nigerians, the president encouraged citizens to pray for continued peace and stability, and to remain steadfast in promoting unity and national progress.

He acknowledged the difficulties many have endured over the past year and reassured the public of his administration’s commitment to safeguarding the physical, social, and economic well-being of the people.
He added that his government is “laying a solid foundation for national growth.”
