LUDLOW, Ill. (WICS) — Three people have died following a two-vehicle crash in Ludlow on Tuesday.

On June 24 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Champaign County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the report of a motor vehicle crash in the area of County Road 1550 E and County Road 3500N in Ludlow Township. Two vehicles, a pickup truck and a passenger car, collided at this location.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 62-year-old man from Paxton, and the driver of the passenger car, a 56-year-old female from Paxton, were pronounced deceased on the scene. A passenger in the passenger car, a 30-year-old female from Ludlow, was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

This crash is currently under investigation by Champaign County Sheriff’s Office accident reconstruction deputies. The names of those involved are not being released pending notification of next of kin.
