This beautiful park in B.C. is known for its lush forest, oceanside trails, and sandy beach. It's an oasis of natural beauty set within Vancouver, acting as an escape from the bustle of the downtown area.

Stanley Park is the crown jewel of Vancouver — a perfect representation of the city and nature balance that the West Coast is known for. Within minutes from the busy shops and streets you're surrounded by vibrant greenery and the slow sounds of nature.

It's part of what makes this park legendary, and recently on the Narcity Canada Facebook Page it was named among the countries best natural wonders.

Nothing says a Vancouver trip like grabbing a coffee and heading to the seawall, which wraps around Stanley Park.

The park is actually among the largest urban parks in the world, and the beauty found within sets it apart. Winding our way through the park on the forested trails you'll pass by the towering trees of the rainforest.

A great way to experience the park is with the Talking Trees Tour. The tour website says that on it you'll get to "hear the stories of how shíshálh (Sechelt) Coast Salish & Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) People have been utilizing the land for food, medicine and technology for thousands of years."

The 10--kilometre-long seawall hugs the shoreline of the park, and will lead you past the sandy shore of Second Beach.

You can spend hours exploring here, taking in the city and ocean views, visiting the restaurants in the park and soaking in the nature.
