There's a short list in my mind of the labels I look forward to seeing the most during fashion month, and Avavav is always on it. I often find myself gravitating toward the unbridled designers who are more unconventional, say something deeper with their work, and push the realms of their creative expression to the fullest extent.
Avavav, founded in Florence and now based in Stockholm, has built a reputation for theatrical, tongue-in-cheek runway shows under Creative Director Beate Karlsson. Now, the label has collaborated with Adidas for a second time, showing the collection during its F/W 25 show at Milan Fashion Week. It's Adidas, but through a surrealist, slightly absurdist lens—Avavav's signature of fashion meets performance art.
The collection is now available to shop on the Adidas website, Adidas stores, and select retailers.
