TGI Group recognises CSR advocates
Terra Seasoning Cube, a TGI Group flagship brand, has recognised three individuals for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) engagement in the community.
The selected individuals are Franca Eze, Joel Abayomi and Victoria Onyenweama. They are to temporarily represent the brand, embodying its value of ‘Unwrapping Joy’ before the return of its long-time ambassador, Chioma Akpotha.
Eze, a cervical cancer survivor, organised free breast cancer screenings for women in Ajegunle, using her story to drive awareness and access to healthcare.
Joel, inspired by the resilience of Lagos drivers, distributed care packages in appreciation of their service, while Victoria hosted a relaxation event for stressed medical students at LASUTH, providing food, games and a moment to unwind.
Speaking on the success of the campaign, the Chief Marketing Officer, TGI Group, Probal Bhattacharya, emphasised the brand’s dedication to putting consumers first.
“At TGI Group, we believe that our consumers are the heart of our brand. Their love and loyalty inspire us and we are committed to involving them in every step of our journey. This initiative is a testament to that commitment, and the massive engagement we’ve received reaffirms how much our brand means to people,” he stated.
Bhattacharya said as Chioma Akpotha prepares to resume her ambassadorial role, the company continues to bridge the gap between brand engagement and real-life impact, ensuring that its consumers remain at the forefront of every campaign.
