A teenager was stabbed in the neck and back and a boy had his fingers cut at a fishing pool, police have confirmed.

Officers were called shortly after 17:00 BST on Sunday to reports that a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy had both been stabbed at Hales Hall Fishing Pool, near Cheadle in Staffordshire.

A West Midlands Ambulance crew took them to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.

A police spokesperson said: "Anyone who has any information which could help our investigation is urged to contact us."
