Dr Mpango is in France representing President Samia Suluhu Hassan at the global summit, Dr. Mpango.
Yesterday he delivered Tanzania’s national statement during the opening session of UNOC3 on Monday.
He urged the international community to take joint action to promote a sustainable ocean economy, reduce marine pollution, and safeguard marine biodiversity through long-term, inclusive investments.
The UNOC3 summit has brought together world leaders, policymakers, and experts to chart the way forward for global ocean governance and the sustainable use of marine resources.
