Sunshine returns with high pressure
Elmira, N.Y. (WETM)– Happy Thursday! We are getting treated to sunshine under high pressure today, but a cold front returns late tonight.
We start the day mostly clear and sunny! Temperatures under sunshine warm up to the low 50s./
Clouds return this evening ahead of a cold front moving in. Isolated rain showers roll in after dinnertime, and higher elevations may see some wintry precipitation mix in.
THE WEEK AHEAD:
Tomorrow, more clouds will build in, and scattered rain showers will return in the evening. This weekend will see several chances for scattered rain showers with temperatures warming up to the upper 60s and potentially low 70s.
