Rain with a chance of thunder early today, then spotty showers
We start the day cloudy with scattered rain showers. A few thunderstorms may roll in with this initial round of activity, spawning an 18 Storm Team Weather Alert through 10 am today. Behind this initial round, we’ll return to isolated showers and cloudy skies. Gusty winds will continue throughout the afternoon with up to 30 mph wind gusts, and temperatures will top off in the low 70s.
This evening, it will be mainly cloudy with, at most, some spotty drizzle. The clouds will gradually clear out overnight. Temperatures will drop into the low 30s behind the cold front.
We briefly return to sunshine tomorrow before a more active pattern returns Wednesday evening and Thursday.
