However, stocks such as Capital Infra Trust,
Osia Hyper Retail, Noida Toll Bridge Co, Astron Paper & Board and
Latteys Industries, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 24 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, M&M,
HDFC Bank,
Eternal,
Hindalco and
Shriram Finance were among top gainers, while
Coal India Ltd,
Adani Ent.,
Apollo Hospital,
Adani Ports SEZ and
SBI Life traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 142.46 points up at 81516.21 at 10:25AM(IST). Traders were seen piling up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in Aquaculture, Financial Services, Construction, Glass and Holding Company sectors.
