The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. The round was exceptionally exciting as six games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Vila-Real (20-2) on the court of second ranked Torrent on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by

Torrent 76-75. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Vila-Real. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Torrent forced 20 Vila-Real turnovers. Strangely Vila-Real outrebounded Torrent 51-38 including 18 on the offensive glass. Forward Alejandro Terrades (196-2001) saved the victory by scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. Jose Bedia contributed with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Center Miguel Moragas (203-1994) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for Vila-Real. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Torrent (18-1) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain second place behind leader El Pinar. Vila-Real at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Torrent are looking forward to face Jovens (#4) in Valencia in the next round. Important game to mention about took place in Corralejo. Eighth ranked Corralejo (11-12) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Tres Cantos (16-7) 71-69 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Tres Cantos. It was a great evening for guard Gonzalo Guerra (196-2003) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Marcos Hermoso helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds. Corralejo's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Gonzalo Diaz (186-2004) responded with 19 points and 7 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Corralejo moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 7 other teams. Tres Cantos at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Chlorella. Corralejo will play against league's second-placed Estudiantes B in Madrid in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tres Cantos will play at home against Guadalajara and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Es Castell between Es Castell and JAC Sants. Sixth ranked Es Castell (13-9) got a very close home victory over 7th ranked JAC Sants (11-12). Es Castell managed to escape with a 2-point win 81-79 in the game for the sixth place. It was an exceptional evening for Javier Hernandez who led the winners and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Xavier Assalit came up with 12 points and 7 rebounds for JAC Sants in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Es Castell. They maintain sixth place with 13-9 record, which they share with Murcia Juver. Newly promoted JAC Sants keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with 7 other teams.
