The most important game in the last round took place in Santiago de Compostela between second ranked Estudiantes (22-4) and sixth ranked Monbus Obradoiro (16-9) on Saturday night.

Estudiantes was defeated by Monbus Obradoiro on the road 73-90. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Estudiantes. Obradoiro shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Estudiantes' players. Czech center Ondrej Balvin (217-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Slovakian power forward Vladimir Brodziansky (210-1994, college: TCU, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Oviedo moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Zamora and Gipuzkoa. Fuenlabrada at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Oviedo will play against bottom-ranked Moron (#18) in Moron de la Frontera in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fuenlabrada will play on the road against Cartagena (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
LEB Gold top team - Burgos SP (24-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Valladolid (7-19) 88-61. Luke Fischer notched 13 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) by Vasilije Vucetic did not help to save the game for Valladolid. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Burgos SP have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 24-2 record. Valladolid lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 19 games lost. They share the position with Castello. Burgos SP will meet Ourense (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Valladolid will play against Alicante (#13) and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 26: Menorca was smashed by Alicante on the road 96-68. Castello lost to Burgos T. on its own court 94-97. Zamora unfortunately lost to Gipuzkoa in San Sebastian 78-86. Palencia managed to beat Cantabria at home 85-77. Ourense was defeated by Real Betis on the opponent's court 94-89. Bottom-ranked Moron was beaten by Cartagena in a home game 64-68.
The most impressive performance of 26th round was 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by Gabriel Gil of Cartagena.

Alicante - Menorca 96-68

There was a small surprise when fifteenth ranked Alicante (9-17) crushed at home 12th ranked Menorca (9-17)
