Newly promoted Hiopos Forca Lleida (Liga Endesa) confirmed in their roster 28-year old American guard James Batemon (185cm-86kg-1997, college: LMU) for season 2025-26. He was a team leader there last season. In 14 Liga Endesa games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.2ppg, 3.1rpg and 2.6apg. He also spent pre-season at Bullets (NBL) in Australian league.
Batemon is a highly experienced player. Thanks to Batemon's pro career, he has played on three different continents (Europe, Australia, and North America) in seven different countries. He has previously played professionally in Australia, France (Tours and JA Vichy), Germany (Hakro Merlins), Greece (Karditsas), Israel (Kiryat Ata), Latvia (BK Ogre), and The Basketball Tournament (Money Team).
In 2024, Batemon's team reached the Israeli Premier League Semifinals. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Israeli League All-Imports Team in 2024.
He graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2019 and it'll be his seventh season as a pro player. Batemon also played for North Dakota State College of Science for 2 years.
