A snowstorm in northern New Brunswick has closed some schools in the Anglophone North and Francophone Northeast districts on Wednesday.

A snowstorm in northern New Brunswick has closed some schools in the Anglophone North and Francophone Northeast districts on Wednesday.

In Anglophone North, all schools in Bathurst, Dalhousie and Campbellton are closed.

In Francophone Northeast, school is closed in Allardville, Balmoral, Bas-Caraquet, Bathurst, Beresford, Bertrand, Campbellton, Caraquet, Dalhousie, Grande-Anse, Paquetville, Little Rock and Robertville. 

Environment Canada snowfall warnings also remained in place as of Wednesday morning for the Bathurst and Chaleur region, Campbellton and Restigouche areas and Mount Carleton. 

 The warning said the snow would be ending Wednesday morning. In total, the region was expected to get 15 centimetres overnight and into the morning.
