When Saturday Night Live throws punches, it’s usually all laughs—until someone actually gets hurt. This time, it’s Sex Education and Anxious People star Aimee Lou Wood who found herself getting attacked in the meanest way possible. During the recent sketch spoofing The White Lotus, comedian Sarah Sherman showed up with buck teeth while mimicking Wood’s character.

Now, while fans were quick to point out the insensitive jab, Aimee Lou Wood took things into her own hands and shared her response to SNL via Instagram Story. What followed was an apology from the NBC show and a bouquet from Sarah Sherman as a peace offering. Later on, Sherman appeared for an interview expressing her guilt, following this sketch.
