The ‘Penalty’ hitmaker to lament the alarming rate of substance abuse, particularly among youths in his hometown of Agege, Lagos.
He revealed how heartbreaking it was to see some of his childhood friends fall victim to drug addiction, wasting their potential.
Small Doctor recalled how Fuji singer Wasiu Ayinde KWAM 1 advised him six years ago to establish a rehabilitation center, predicting it would become “the new oil”.

Small Doctor started his music career in 2012 but rose to fame after the release of ‘Penalty’ in 2018.
‘Penalty’ won the ‘Best Street Hop’ award at The Headies 2018. He also released other hit singles like ‘Gbagaun’, ‘Mosquito Killer’ and ‘Anobi’.
Small Doctor has made a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry with his songs mostly composed in English and Yoruba.
The singer is known for keeping his family life away from the public.
In March, he welcomed his first child with his Canada-based lover.
