Skill training, Khadi Utsav begins in Mandya | Mysuru News - The Times of India

Mandya district
minister N Cheluvarayaswamy emphasised the importance of
skill training
for livelihood and encouraged the trainees to make good use of the training programme.
The programme was jointly organised by the district administration, the department of skill development, entrepreneurship and livelihood,
Karnataka Skill Development Corporation
, Bengaluru, District Skill Mission, Mandya, district employment exchange office, Mandya, and
Mandya University
at Mandya University grounds here on Friday.
The minister also launched the state-level khadi and village industry products exhibition-cum-sale — Khadi Utsav-2025 — by offering a garland to the statue of Gandhi. He later visited the stalls selling khadi products.
Mandya MLA P Ravikumar, DC Kumara, SP Mallikarjuna Baladandi, and Khadi Board directors and village industry officers were present. The exhibition will be open between 10am and 9.30pm till Feb 21. Entry is free.
