Simplilearn Appoints Jitendra Kumar as CTO for AI-First Strategy

Digital upskilling company Simplilearn has officially announced the reappointment of Jitendra Kumar as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this strategic role, Kumar is tasked with leading Simplilearn's ambitious AI-first transformation. His primary objective will be to embed a wide range of AI technologies, spanning from generative to predictive AI, across the company's offerings. This initiative aims to significantly personalize learning experiences for users and to scale Simplilearn's global impact in the education technology sector.
Jitendra Kumar is no stranger to Simplilearn, returning to the firm with a proven track record of driving large-scale technological innovation. During his earlier tenure at the company, he played a pivotal role in leading the development of its web and mobile platforms. These platforms were instrumental in facilitating Simplilearn's rapid expansion and scale-up in the competitive digital education market.
Prior to rejoining Simplilearn, Kumar gained valuable entrepreneurial experience. He co-founded and served as the CEO of HappyCredit, a fintech startup that garnered backing from notable investors such as Kunal Shah and Goodwater Capital. Additionally, Jitendra Kumar demonstrated his expertise in AI by building ReelOn, an innovative AI-powered video content creation platform tailored for creators, marketing agencies, and various brands.
