Showers bring relief in Kanpur

Kanpur: Citizens after day-long humid conditions, felt relief on Saturday evening when, on the third consecutive day, intermittent showers took place. Moderate showers began at 7.00 pm.Rainfall is likely to continue intermittently for the next two to three days. Weather models are showing that there is a possibility of at least 20 mm of rainfall in the next three days, Pandey predicted. During daytime the relative humidity was high at 83 percent. The maximum temperature was recorded as 34.9 degrees, which was 2 degrees below normal. Minimum temperature too was below normal, as it was recorded as 26 degrees.

Eastern wind speed was 4.9 kms per hour.Weather scientist at CSA University, Sunil Pandey predicted that, due to light clouds in the sky during the next five days, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall locally along with strong winds and thunderstorms between June 21 and 24.
