The journalist posted a video walking through a market, saying:

"I have KSh 100,000 to give away, and I want to spend it all on a stranger—specifically, a mum."

Arora then walked around looking for a suitable beneficiary of her generosity. She noticed a woman who smiled at her and decided to approach her.

“How much do you earn in a day?" Arora asked Jackie Njenga, who sells groceries.

The businesswoman said she earns about KSh 5,000 daily.

"If I give you KSh 10,000, will you close shop and spend the day with me?" Arora asked. Jackie agreed.

Shiksha handed her the money, and the two boarded a vehicle. Arora asked Jackie what her favorite food was, and Jackie replied “githeri,” which made them both laugh. Her second choice was pizza, so they went and got some—with pineapple toppings.

Jackie opened up to Arora about her life.

"The kids are not mine biologically. My mother passed away when I was young, and I’ve been taking care of them since."

She shared that she has struggled to conceive and has lost around eight pregnancies.

“I’m still trying, and I believe that one day I will have a child,” Jackie said.

They then visited a salon for a facial, a hairdo, and a manicure. Next, they went shopping for classy outfits, several pairs of shoes, earrings, and a necklace. Arora also bought flour and other household items for her.

Finally, Shiksha gave Jackie the remaining KSh 59,900 in cash.

“I wish my mother were here. I wish I could spend this with my biological children,” Jackie said, breaking down in tears.

Kenyans admitted to crying after watching the emotional clip:
