Defending champion PBC CSKA Moscow (VTB United League) signed 31-year-old American 196cm guard Antonius Cleveland (college: SEMO) for the upcoming season. He last played at Lokomotiv. In 56 VTB United League games in Russia, he averaged 14.0ppg, 4.3rpg, 3.0apg, and 1.7spg last season, helping them reach the semifinals. He was named Eurobasket.com VTB United League Defensive Player of the Year, League Player of the Week, and voted to Eurobasket.com VTB United League Third Team. In the previous (2023-24) season, he played at Maccabi Tel Aviv (Winner League) in the Israeli league, where he had 9.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.6apg, and 1.5spg in 21 games. He contributed to his team winning the league title and reaching the Cup final.
Cleveland is a well-traveled player, having played professionally in five different countries on three continents. He has experience in Australia, Israel, and the NBA, as well as in the NBA G League and NBA Summer League.
He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2017 and it'll be his ninth season in pro basketball.
