Richmond and Zetland Harriers have been busy this month, with members taking part in a series of races.
The month began with the Ali Brownlee 5k race in Middlesbrough, where Ken Harker finished 48th overall and eighth in his age category in a time of 19 minutes and 9 seconds.

On the same day, Huw Morgans ran the Jubilee Bridge 10k in Runcorn, finishing in 58 minutes, placing him 338th overall.
Pauline Whittaker represented the club at the second match in the North East Masters Athletics Association (NEMAA) Track & Field on June 2 at Monkton Stadium in Jarrow.

She finished second in the V55 category in the 100m in 18 seconds, second in the V55 in the 200m in 35.6 seconds, and first in the V55 category in the shot putt with a 6.22m throw.
The second Harrogate District Summer Race League (HDSRL) took place on June 5 at Yeadon, hosted by Dragons Running Club in Leeds.

The 5.2-mile multi-terrain route went through Esholt Woods, which was surprisingly muddy despite the lack of rain.
Paul Simpson finished 52nd overall, fifth M50 in 38 minutes and 9 seconds, Nicola Simpson 105th, second F50 in 42 minutes and 6 seconds, Lauren Eadon 153rd, first F60 in 45 minutes and 27 seconds, and Pauline Whittaker 282nd, 12th F55 in 54 minutes and 19 seconds.

Paul Ellis competed in the Kirkby Fleetham 10k Trail Race on June 10, finishing fifth overall in 42 minutes and 36 seconds.

The DalesRunner Stately Trails race at Forcett Park took place on June 12, the second race in the Stately Trails series.
In the 5k race, Phoebe Haw had a strong run, finishing fifth overall, third female in 26 minutes and 51 seconds.
Jonathan Simpson was triumphant in the 10k race, winning it in 46 minutes and 27 seconds.
Rob Scott continued his winning ways, finishing first overall in the Evensplits York 5k series on June 13, the fifth race in the series, in a time of 15 minutes and 21 seconds.
Steve Middleton had a fantastic run, finishing 26th overall, second M45 in 17 minutes and 11 seconds, and son Ollie Middleton ran an impressive time of 18 minutes and 4 seconds, placing him 40th overall and 24th MSen.

In the parkruns on May 31 at Northallerton, Ian Christon was first overall in 18 minutes and 43 seconds, Steve Middleton third in 19 minutes and 16 seconds, Paul Ellis fourth in 19 minutes and 26 seconds, Ken Harker 11th in 21 minutes and 35 seconds, Lauren Eadon 24th in 23 minutes and 25 seconds, Philippa Thompson 37th in 24 minutes and 42 seconds, and Victoria Christon 132nd in 32 minutes and 40 seconds.
At Darlington, Paul Simpson was 10th in 19 minutes and 38 seconds and Nicola Simpson 84th in 23 minutes and 41 seconds, at Thorp Perrow, Anthony Jefford was 7th in 20 minutes and 43 seconds and Peter Richardson 69th in 29 minutes and 5 seconds.
