Indiana men’s basketball is set to host Chase Branham, a 247Sports 3-star guard in the class of 2027, for an unofficial visit this week, per reporting from Sam Kayser of League Ready:

2027 guard Chase Branham (@ChaseBran3) is taking an unofficial visit to Indiana on Thursday, he tells @LeagueRDY.

Branham is a 6-4 guard who can knockdown shots, make plays off the bounce and is a high-level athlete.

He’s also receiving interest from Missouri, Iowa, Kansas… pic.twitter.com/zwluxbNNqr

With the 2025-26 roster all but fully assembled, eligibility waiver decisions on Luke Goode and Anthony Leal pending, it seems that Indiana’s recruiting focus has turned to the future through the high school pipeline.

Darian DeVries and the rest of the staff certainly have pre=existing relationships with prospects in the 2026 and 2027 classes, but the focus is going to have to shift from their prior programs to Indiana. The program has been issuing several offers and extending invitations for visits like this one.

Indiana could use talent just about anywhere in upcoming high school classes, but point guard depth will be essential with this being the last year for Tayton Conerway and Conor Enright.
