Renate Noessler named as first female Co-MD for Volkswagen and Audi in Malaysia
and have announced a leadership transition, with Renate Noessler taking the helm as Co-Managing Director of VPCM and PHSAM. She is the first female to lead the VPCM and PHSAM business and operations in Malaysia, and will work alongside Kurt Leitner in the same role.
Noessler brings with her 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, including international expertise in sales, marketing, and business consulting. Most recently, she was the General Manager of Sales at Audi Singapore.
“I am honoured to take on this role and continue working with customers, dealer partners, the media, and stakeholders in Malaysia. With our growing network at VPCM and PHSAM, we will be focused on delivering exceptional experiences to our customers. I am confident that both brands will continue to thrive in this ever-evolving landscape,” she said.
Noessler will succeed Denyu Bostandzhiev, who will be progressing to a leadership role with Porsche Holdings Salzburg (PHS) in Bulgaria. Bostandzhiev has helmed VPCM and PHSAM since July 2023.
During his time as co-MD, Bostandzhiev overseen several key company initiatives, including the launch of the , for the and , the , and the recent launch of the .
The CKD Audi Q7 is available as the . Launched during the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, it holds the distinction of being the first Audi SUV to be assembled locally in the region. This variant is priced at RM482,422 on-the-road, without insurance, and inclusive of the Audi Assurance Package (AAP).
Configured as a seven-seater in a 2-3-2 seating layout, the Audi Q7 in Malaysia is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine with 48V mild hybrid that produces 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque. This is paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which allows a 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
The Audi Assurance Package (AAP), included in the price of the Audi Q7 in Malaysia, comprises five years or 150,000 km of warranty coverage, five years or 75,000 km of maintenance service, and five years of roadside assistance. Without the AAP package, the price of the Audi Q7 is RM462,422.
