Prithviraj Sukumaran set expectations for his next film, 'L2: Empuraan', starring Mohanlal, by unveiling a thrilling teaser a few days ago. In a recent interview, the actor-director spoke about the Prabhas-starrer 'Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam'.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Prithviraj confirmed 'Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam' and added that director Prashanth Neel is currently busy working on another project. “Once that is done, we will all get together for Salaar 2,” he added.

'Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam' is a highly anticipated sequel to the 2023 box office hit, 'Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire'. The film featured Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. The action flick narrated the story of a deep friendship between Deva and Varadha, played by Prabhas and Prithviraj, respectively.

The film’s end card in theatres confirmed a second part, which is expected to be released in 2026, although an official date is yet to be announced.
On the work front, Prabhas is busy shooting for his next film, tentatively titled 'Fauji', with director Hanu Raghavapudi.
