Newlife Prayer Centre and Church founder, Pastor Ezekiel Odero, has revealed that unknown men raided his church and stole the Ark of the Covenant.

The preacher warned that the Ark of the Covenant is too dangerous to be joked with, explaining that it will strike the thieves and their family members.

"Some people accessed that pulpit and stole the ark of the covenant. They went with it. They don't know that it's dangerous. It can hit you. Even if you read the bible, that thing hits people. I won't talk about it because it will do its work, but woe unto you if the thief is your child. Woe unto you if the thief is your brother, because it doesn't strike one person, it strikes the entire family. That is how it works. You have heard me saying I won't talk," he said in a video circulating on TikTok.

The Ark of the Covenant can be described as the ornate, gold-plated wooden chest that in biblical times housed the two tablets of the law given to Moses by God.

The ark was built by the Israelites after they fled Egypt during the Exodus. According to the Bible, the ark was designed to be a symbol of the presence of God.

Many netizens were surprised by Pastor Ezekiel's revelation and wondered how the thieves accessed the ark.

Why did Pastor Ezekiel Odero scold cameraman?

Previously, the man of God did not spare his cameraman after he realised his son Teddy Odero had been targeted and broadcast on the screen during a livestreamed church service

The cameraman smiled, never uttered a word, leaving the congregation in stitches.

Teddy, however, laughed shyly and hid his face as he continued with his business of playing the piano.
