Partizan, Isaac Bonga pen new deal

The forward signed an extension through the end of the 2026-27 season

Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade and forward Isaac Bonga have signed a deal that will keep them together for two more seasons, the club announced Monday.

Bonga (2.04 meters, 26 years old) averaged 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 30 EuroLeague games last season with the team. He ranked seventh in the EuroLeague in free throw shooting percentage (93.3%). He also posted 7.4 points and 4.6 rebounds in the ABA League in helping Partizan regain the crown.

Bonga joined Partizan last summer from FC Bayern Munich, where he played the previous two campaigns. Over the his three EuroLeague seasons, with Bayern and Partizan, Bonga has averaged 6.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 91 appearances.

Bonga helped tBayern win the German League in 2024 and back-to-back German Cups in 2023 and 2024. Before his two years there, Bonga played four seasons in the USA. He spent the first year there between the Los Angeles Lakers and its G League affiliate, South Bay. He played the next two seasons for the Washington Wizards and the 2021-22 campaign was divided between the Toronto Raptors of the NBA and Raptors 905 of the G League.

Bonga began his professional career as a teenager in the lower divisions of German basketball with Koblenz before joining Fraport Skyliners, where he played between 2016 and 2018. He has also been a member of the German national team and helped the team win the 2023 Basketball World Cup gold medal.
