The late MP was married to three women: Emmaculate Adhiambo, Margaret, and Anne. Sadly, Emmaculate passed away years ago, leaving behind Margaret and Anne.
But it’s a recently surfaced photo of Anne's home that has captured the attention of many Kenyans.
Images widely shared on social media show a majestic mustard-yellow two-story house standing tall in a grassy compound.

The house features a dark grey roof, possibly made of slate or composite shingles, and multiple large windows with a grid pattern—clearly designed to allow plenty of natural light into the home.
The structure is more than just impressive—it tells the story of a man who loved his family and invested in their future, even if fate denied him the chance to enjoy the fruits of his efforts.
Speaking during a tribute event on Saturday, May 3, Anne gave a tearful and emotional tribute to her husband.
She revealed that while her late partner had built the magnificent house for her, he never slept in it.
“My name is Anne Were, a girl from Meru. The honourable built this house for me, and he hasn't even slept in it,” she said, her voice heavy with emotion.
Her words moved many Kenyans, who sympathised with the pain of having a home filled with promise but now shadowed by loss.
Many netizens expressed admiration for the home’s beauty and Were’s dedication to his family, while others couldn't help but reflect on the cruel nature of life, where dreams are sometimes cut short before being realised.
Amos Mugi:
"For the love of ODM. He even painted it the party colour."
Meshack Otieno:
"So can that house be rightfully called his house? (Base your answers on Luo traditions and customs)"
Connie:
“This house is beautiful. May she find peace in it even though he never stepped inside."
Jeremy:
“The love he had for his family is clear. What a painful loss."
Photos previously shared gave a rare look into the home of Were’s second wife, Margaret.
Nestled amidst lush greenery, the two-story mansion reflects both the lawmaker’s achievements and his deep connection to his constituency.
The house features a light exterior finish, a tiled roof, and a prominent garage door suggesting ample parking space.
Surrounding the home is a well-manicured lawn bordered by trees, completing the peaceful and elegant setting.
