OnePlus 13s Teased Ahead of India Launch

The OnePlus 13s is poised to launch in India soon, with the company actively teasing its key features. While a specific launch date remains unannounced, OnePlus has been revealing details about the upcoming handset over the past few weeks. The smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a compact 6.32-inch display.
One of the highlighted features is the "Plus Key" button, expected to offer similar functionality to the customisable shortcut key found on the OnePlus 13T, which was released in China in April. This key, positioned on the left edge of the phone where the alert slider was previously located, is customisable and may function similarly to the alert slider, allowing users to control brightness or access AI features with a single click, according to an X (formerly Twitter) post by OnePlus.
The Plus Key is expected to mirror the functionality of the customisable shortcut key on the OnePlus 13T, enabling users to switch between do not disturb, sound, and vibration modes. It can also serve as a dedicated camera capture button or initiate recordings with a simple click. Users may also assign it to take screenshots, access translation tools, or even set it to perform no action when pressed.
The design of the OnePlus 13s bears a resemblance to the OnePlus 13T. In India, the device is teased to be available in black and pink color options. Its 6.32-inch display and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset have been confirmed. The phone will be available for purchase through Amazon and the OnePlus India e-store.
The OnePlus 13T, launched in China in April, features a 6.32-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 6,260mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging, and boasts an IP65-rated dust and splash-resistant build. The handset includes a 50-megapixel main rear sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter with up to 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
