(OFB), has announced how its AI-driven operations have helped in making significant logistics and job creation possible. The company which specialises in raw materials like metals and chemicals claimed to have engaged over 4,000 transporters across India, moving 7 million tonnes of materials across 65 million kilometres, both domestically and to 15 countries, including the US, UK, and Australia.

This activity generated indirect employment for over 350,000 people, in addition to those involved in loading and unloading operations. OfB also noted that it has now expanded its reach to 26 states and 7 UTs and has already delivered 1.7 lakh consignments to SMEs by using AI in 2024.
In about a decade, OfBusiness has built two unicorns, including Oxyzo, its financial services arm founded in 2016, which provides working capital support to over 2 million SMEs. The company's AI-powered platform, Nexizo.AI, processes 25 million data points annually and also analyses over 50 million government tenders and documents to help SME growth.

Commenting on the achievement, Vikram Singh, Business Head at OfBusiness said: “Connectivity is one of the key functions at OfBusiness being a B2B commerce platform. Since our businesses are spread across metals, chemicals, Agri-products and apparel, it has always been our priority to ensure safe and timely delivery of all our consignments.”

“To ensure safe delivery of all consignment, we have an AI-enabled monitoring system that does real-time tracking of all consignments, and such live updates are shared with SMEs we are catering to. We are also able to reach a larger base of transporters across India through our AI-enabled, transparent, bidding platform.,” Singh added

Recently, OfBusiness announced plans to expand its steel business, investing approximately Rs 3,000 crores over the next three years. It supplies steel to major firms like L&T, Adani, J Kumar, Dilip Buildcon, and Ashoka Buildcon and is expanding into new categories such as pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI), alongside its existing offerings of TMT bars and structural steel.
This expansion is expected to boost engagement with transporters, increase the demand for additional trucks, and create new employment opportunities. OfBusiness currently generates $2.5 billion in revenue.
